One of my absolute favorite items in my living room is this tiny set of traditional buildings from all over Europe handmade by the American artist Laurie Poast. She has been living in different countries in Europe in order to reproduce theses architectural pearls down to the very detail. Currently she is staying in Bergen, Norway.

These minimal sculptures are all made in unglazed porcelain with natural pigments; a Norwegian stabbur, Parisian Art Nouveau, Italian trullo, German Fachwerkhaus, traditional houses from Amsterdam and much more. Watching them is like taking a historical journey throughout the centuries. Just love it!!
